A rover is a type of robot designed to move across different surfaces and do different tasks. Some rovers are designed to transport goods from one place to another. Rovers are nowadays used in different planets. These rovers are designed according to the surface, temperature, etc of the planet.
Rovers have to withstand high levels of acceleration, high and low temperatures, pressure, dust, corrosion, cosmic rays, remaining functional without repair for a needed period of time.

It's a type of robot that moves on two or maybe three wheels for support. These robots are the most easiest robots to make. Their mechanics are not much complicated as compared to the other robots. This is the best robot to get started for a beginner.

When we say ROBOT! what comes in your mind. Yes eyes, mouth, legs hands, etc. Well this type of robot looks like something which you can call a robot. It's mechanics are a bit complicated. It can look almost like a human. Nowadays, many of the robots are bipeds.
